One step closer

Yesterday I met with the inspector at the old house so he could update our wind mitigation report. This was done because I installed hurricane shutters (metal panels). The updated wind mitigation report goes to the insurance company and will mean approximately a $400 discount on the yearly premium.

We had to get new/different insurance because the old house will be tenant occupied and not owner occupied and the insurance company wanted new/updated inspections. The savings will take 3-4 years to pay for the cost of materials.

With a couple of exclusions it has been since August of this year since I have taken a “day off”. The routine has been, when I’m  not working my regular job I’ve been working at one of the houses. Now with the Titusville home all set, I can take a break and, at a slower pace continue doing the things at the new home that I want to get done.

One step closer to a much larger dream and goal. And just in time for some great time off over Christmas with my wife and children.

Carry on and never give up.
